Why?!? why don't i get stuff everytime i run things?!?!? That one person got lucky and got an item on his first run, so everyone should get an item every run... Eorzea is so not fair!!!!!
Personally I have no complaints about the system. Makes it more fair on the item you want and more so for statics. Instead of running it 20-30 times for one drop, because each floor only drops like, 3 different types of items and 2 at a time, you make sure your whole group gets what they need in a good amount of time.
I dont mind it at all so far.
you don't understand how retail and restaurant schedules work at all, do you....You clearly have a decent amount of playtime if you are geared and raiding at 60 already. Again, there are a LOT of people playing this game. You can find some who have similar schedules. There are many retail and restraunt workers in this game who don't have set schedules.
hint: playing with 7 other retail workers doesn't suddenly make retail schedules magically line up so that everyone has the same night off
video games are bad
Sorry to say this but maybe its time to stop play vid games. The problem is pretty much with you. I also have a heavy work schedule and im pretty sure SE does too. And i've learned to accept that i won't have time to do what i want in one day for this game.
Current EX primal loot distribution is better.
With this it feels like you have to run each turn 4 times per week compared to each turn once from before...
You're leaving out the part where all 8 people in the static can potentially get the drop that they want in a total of 4 runs per week versus two people possibly getting a drop that they don't already have and can Need on.
This is definitely better.
The Alexander loot system is better than coil but the amounts of token it drops could use a boost IMO.
4F for example, if both coffers are Tarnished Gordian Shaft, that combined is only half piece of gear while the ARR raids net you 2.
If you’re in a static , your group has to run the whole raid 4 times a week at minimum to get every member a token in each floor. And could easily double that if aiming for specified token.
The system is as equal as equal can get, the reason why people don't enjoy this system is because they will in essence always go up against 7 others rather than by role or job.
AKA in Coil "Loot Competition" was:
Tank
Healers
BLM/SMN
DRG
BRD
MNK
NIN
The old system favored DoW in terms of odds of getting gear because if NIN dropped, guess what x/4 will compete but x/4 has a low chance of being all NIN, especially when you consider in a DF concept it tends to favor 2 melee 2 range so now it's a 50% chance you will be competing against another NIN.
With tank and healer however regardless of who the tank or healer was they would always have another person competing against them, and in BLM/SMN case it just meant that the odds of them competing against someone increased because they shared as well.
