This. I helped down the first 3 parts in under 2 hours guys, UNDER TWO HOURS. With a bunch of randoms at that. This is Coil 1 nerfed levels of easy.

In fairness, no one is saying to get a static because it's hard. They're saying to get a static to make it easier to get your weekly loot.

I prefer the consistency of progress then the randomization of loot, honestly. At least here I know I need multiple runs, and I know with certain numbers I'll get what I want.

You're going to have to run it a billion times without a static because you'll constantly be rolling against 7 people because people will just leave once they get what they want.

There was Pro's and Con's to both of these loots.

The old gear roll, we at least had Job's sets. We wasn't fightnin' over 7 other people....Less than that or none at all depending on your job. Still...you got sick of NIN shxt every time!
This new gear roll, instead of waiting 30 damn years to see a BLM body [I'm lookin' at you WoD] you can hope to collect tokens and save for it...but again, it's a fight between you and 7 others.
Good news is, if it's as easy as everyone says, you can burn through multiple times and get a chance for it.

I have to actually try it out and see my thoughts.

I'd rather do 50 runs of Alexander and be rolling on an item to trade, (and have a chance against 7 other people), than be passing over and over again and having no chance because my gear didn't drop in the first place.

Everyone should get a token. Just have the system not reward you extras, problem solved.
