    Tomorrow, depending on what the Item Level is for Alexander Normal, I'm going to make my Gear Solver Publicly available for download with all of the weights and possible gear options. The link will be on the OP, along with Instructions in there on how to use it.

    At the same time, the 3.0 "Basics" Dragoon Video Guide (for newbie 3.0 DRGs) will also be up by Wednesday.

    Then, I'm disappearing for 3 weeks abroad and won't return officially until 1st August, so between the 9th-31st July, OP won't be updated. I'll be reading/keeping track of the thread whenever I get the chance to access some Wifi so I can keep up with everything.

    I'm hoping someone I know is bringing their Laptop with them, so I can update the solver for when Savage Alexander comes out... Unless someone is willing to update the solver manually then reupload it?

    59 Now, and straining on where I'm going to put GK on my Cross-Hotbar. Ideally it would be where my Doomspike is now ,but unfortunately that means removing doom-spike entirely from a convenient position.

    Solo wise, I've been working spacing my stuns to be able to get the combo bonus damage on my 4th-tier attacks, so usually that's not a problem. Though I'm having difficult refitting my HT and Ph into my rotation again. Not out of lack of knowledge from it. Just too accustomed using that fourth cooldown in cycle for one of those skills. Will take a while to adjust. The problem being is that I'm not regularly raiding, and haven't since second Coil (Never finished.) so I am approaching everything from a Layman's perspective again.

    Hm, Maybe if I put it similar position as my leg-sweep, given that it's off global cooldown. I'll have to find out whether or not it feels good. Right now all my extra spaces, which my 4th tier skills are on are tied to the combination LT+RT set of cross-hotbar commands. And most of my off global cooldowns are tied to the D-Pad side. Not sure if that will feel comfortable using while pressing both triggers down for an actual attack.

    Sorry, just musing on rotations from a Gamepad perspective.

    So question here. I'm sure many folks are still testing the values of all the changes to Det, SS, and Crit, but from what we have so far:

    WD: 8.688
    STR: 1
    DET: 0.120
    CRT: 0.131 (Using fully untested Critical Hit Damage Mod)
    SS: 0.098 (The per point affect on Skillspeed scales x2.5 less. On top of this, the Buffs on DoT ticks do not mitigate the DoT clipping on Chaos Thrust)

    With this it seems like SS is still garbage even with the change to it affecting the potency of DoTs? so once again we're still hard focusing on Det/Crit builds? The only change it does for me is I'll favor crit food over det (used det food for consistent numbers)

    Was a little sad, was hoping SS was going to be a stronger stat to help pump out more Geirskogulls out in some fashion

    In big fights like Primal EX you will want to use GK when you can, but it isn't too often since there are periods in time when you can't have the buff up, not the playerful's fault for upkeep.

    IMO, I keep GK on my second Cross Hotbar on the R-Trigger side Triangle. Being off global I just need to monitor my Blood's timer, then quickly switch to 2nd Cross Bar for a few times to ensure GK goes off then return to my rotation without any downtime. It did take quite some time to get use to. in 2.0 I was able to fit all of my essentials on the first Cross Bar, 2nd Cross bar for uncommonly used buffs + aoe. Now I find myself establishing a new muscle memory for the new buffs on the second cross bar

    The stat weight is the same regardless of what our rotation wants. You have to think of it like Accuracy now. You want ~590ish Skill Speed in order for the rotation to "work" (more if you have significant latency) and more than that is less potent than other options. Even with 600+ Skill Speed, my latency tends to keep me from achieving 3 Geirskogul's per minute in some situations.

    Enough to reach 2.4 GCD. Skillspeed isn't Linear for Dragoons due to DoT clipping. It hits like 0.09 once we're at 2.38GCD. 2.39 is the absolute maximum anyone of us should have.

    If you plot the damage increase per point of skillspeed onto a graph, the treadline slightly curved. I guess you could say after 2.38 GCD, we encounter diminishing returns.

    I'm not sure about Bismarck EX, but it's 572 (Tank Accuracy) for Ravana Extreme Mode, as you're attacking his front frequently during the fight.
