If you don't like others PF make your own. If you don't like how others act find players like yourself and clear content with them. You have no right to tell the people who want to have their PF their own way which is mostly what I came away with from your post. It's like telling someone else they can't watch a movie because you don't like it.

No, it's not fair at all that people place such ridiculous PF conditions more often than not, but something's got to give, or you just get a bunch of malcontents hitting the DF with little training and even less patience.

Not true. At the moment we only really have 2 types of PFs up. "Must have cleared" and "Learning party" you will have people for both types. Then you may have that random one who wants the loot to himself but good luck filling that one.

Then let them make multiple party finders. But if I am progressed to a certain point in a run, I'm absolutely not relaxing my party finder conditions. I didn't spend all that time learning up to that point to just let other people hold me back on mechanics I already have mastered. We have party finder filters and to be honest, being on Balmung, its always full of entries. Its not that bad at all to sort through them all. Nobody has the right or deserves to be in my party simply because they pay a sub and want to do the content. They do have the right to make their own party. The only ones getting in mine are people who know the fight to the same degree I do.

I'm not disagreeing, actually. And I understand the desire to get a party of individuals on the same level of ability or experience as you. Settling for less is just inviting liability and potential weakness into your party, and while that might sound a little impersonal, it's not. Whether built over time or assembled on short notice, we all want a capable team. . . Playing devil's advocate for a moment, let's not forget that as of 2 weeks ago, we were all brand new again. Make your parties as you will, but remember you can easily be on the other side of the coin at any given time.

True, but I also don't sit around like some of these others waiting for someone to build the party for me. The "me" mentality is real, and the ones who have it are pointing fingers at those of us that are getting it done ourselves. If they can't be bothered to make their own party, then I can't feel bad for them at all.
