and yet i still out perform other dragoon's i group with who ARE using geir every chance they get, this happens much too often for it to just be "oh they were a bad drg" so please, enlighten me how i can be a "third rate drg" as you put it, and still outperform people who ARE using this?

I'll admit i havent yet fought ravana EX, what i am going by in terms of actual numbers is my experience on A)Bismark EX, and B)the two new EX dungeon bosses.

Random DF Dragoons are not a good benchmark.


Look, the practical application of this better rotation that you don't want to do is just as easy as the old one. Just save GKs when you're new to the fight and don't know when phase transitions/mechanics are going to occur. It is that simple. Our Lord and Saviour, Dervy, and his apostles have given us the numerically superior rotation, and it's now on us to implement it. We're lucky we even get spoonfed this number work.
