Hey! At least with my new set of Data, Critical Hit Rating went up to 0.131! Need more Data Points... But until then...

Should that read "SHOULDN'T"? Maybe on the fractal boss it's easy, but in library, running around to panels kills your BoTD, or in Aetherchemical hopping into the black orbs for Universal Manipulation kills your timer. I suppose you are right. When BoTD is up we have the highest DPS, but maintaining it 100%, if you made an error in your sentence, makes sense I suppose. Risk/Reward I guess. It's just frustrating when you pop a fresh BoTD and mechanics force you to lose it before you can get it off. The thing is, it needs to be a LITTLE more forgiving, not for HC players but for casuals I think. It's a bit tight and I see DRGs with poorer connections or slower reaction speeds struggling. Since they buffed HT to give 15% damage regardles of orientation, I can see them adjusting our abilities to make them a bit easier to use. As of right now, DRG is in a very good position but it requires flawless execution and judgement of when to try and risk increase BOTD duration or just blowing it on a double Geirskogul cuz mechanics are incoming.2. You should be able to 100% maintain your rotation regardless of boss mechanics. Those boss mechanics are 100% there to make things harder for you, fights are suppose to be a challenge - you aren't suppose to be able to reach your maximum dummy dps but challenge you to do your best regardless.

I'd just like to say Dervy, that I honestly think every job would benefit from having a Dervy and Thendiel in it.

Skill speed is so nasty now, without even trying I'm already at like 2.39 and I haven't finished upgrading law gear. Feels good.
Also something cool, because HT and Phleb last 24 seconds now, when we get sync'd to 50, it's dumb easy to get double FT's under b4b since we don't need to reapply HT in between like pre 3.0.
Double posting, because yolo.
I'm pretty... "shocked" to see that Critical Hit Rating weighs more than Determination (well, only by 0.001), so they're practically equal... Then I looked at Item Budgets. It appears Item Budget have definitely changed. Before, it was very even. Accuracy, Crit and SS sharing the same budget, with Determination 1/3 of that value (generally). (29/20)
The general rule of thumb, is each piece of Crafted Accessory will always have 1 Stat which is completely Meld Capped this has been the case since 2.0 and it looks like the trend has continued in 3.0.
The Max melds for i150 are:
Primary Attributes: 31
Vitality: 29
ACC/CRT/SS/PRY: 24
DET: 23
This makes the DET:CRT item budget ratio 1:1.043, roughly.
But, this doesn't make much sense when I looked into it.
Every piece of gear that's CRT:SS has more SS
Every piece of gear that's DET:SS, generally has more DET (very few cases where SS is higher)
There's hardly any DET:CRT pieces (only two usable are i160).
If this trend continues for Alexander gear, and if it's also i180 (which I assume), I have a feeling we'll still be gearing Determination purely due to Item Budgets, but Critical Hit Rating may also be equally just as high.
EDIT: Crit Chance % definitely scales the same as Crit Damage %

Here's hoping that crafted gear isn't big, because I don't want to have to spend loads of money on it!
Whilst I wouldn't presume to speak for SE, they seem to have their own "internal" stat weights, based on the stats on gear they had in 2.x (I look mostly at Dreadwyrm/Poetics) since there were always pieced stacked with secondaries you wanted (Bards and their Crit, Summoners on their Spell Speed (jkjk)) - this was most noticeable on the Dreadwyrm weapons. So I imagine we might be able to see what SE believe is best based on the stat distribution on new gear. You can kind of see this with Law already - at full i180 + Ravana weapon, we hit the fabled 2.4 GCD exactly. Guess we'll have to wait and see what they do; Tuesday seems to far away ;_;
doesn't seem like it would be, unless you want vit. secondary stats aren't as strong atm
on expanse weapons, det value is usually 68 for a high det value, while crit/sksp are 71
on 180 chest/pants, det is 66 for a high value, while acc/spsp/crit/sksp are 69
