400 ss at level 50 is approx 2.45s base, 520 is brings it down to approx 2.33s
now if we apply the 3% attack speed to the base of 2.45s we get 2.38s.
so your right isnt not as effective, but overall the difference is minuscule, and more importantly it buffs not just physical, but casters as well, which helps tremendously on the opening burst.
i'll check later tonight when i run something with a SCH to see how the attack speed interacts with greased lightning, i'de assume its multiplicative so it has the same amount of effect as when i mentioned above though.

The context was a potential 6-hit PB opener, not what's "important".
EDIT: the differences are so small, but some numbers a monk I asked came up with in a dungeon were 2.42 -> 2.05 -> 1.98. Seems additive?

Its not about gaining dps, its about effectively inserting cds into the opener. Popping them between the same cd feels really good in the opener im currently using.just tried this myself, and it works, but its certainly not reliable on a higher ping or unstable ping, ultimately its not a dps gain though since the cooldowns should line up that way if you keep them on cooldown, unless you end up getting 1 extra right at the very end of a fight.
Your also right that if it yeilds one more in a fight it will be a dps gain, so for now im going continue popping both between unless it causes issues somewhere down the road.
i forgot you were talking about 6 move perfect balance openers, sorry, although personally i wouldn't rely on the sch buff
and from the numbers you posted, it seems additive which makes it even stronger, although its so close its hard to tell, might be best if someone looks on blm using ley lines since they have longer casts, should be more obvious.
To get the 6 pb opener at 50 I stacked 660 skill speed and with food brought me to 690. Selene then brough tthis to a little over 900. Not sure if that was overkill but I could maange a 6 PB opener with that.

Hey guys.
Just a tip, get your skills once you get the level that accesses them and run dungeons, run a lot of dungeons. Thats the quickest way you're going to get used to the new skills.
On another note, it feels freaking fantastic when you can crit a 3k + Forbidden Chakra/Tornado Kick, my god. Also, Shoulder Tackle is so OP now, and Elixer Drive X Howling Fists X Rockbreaker is some pretty sweet AoE Damage.
I know I was in a slump when I first heard the new skills but I love them, the only one I really still don't see myself using is Purification. 300 TP gain just isn't worth it, especially since my group has a ninja, unless Alexander is about to be 20 minute fights or something crazy.
Heres what I have so far for an Opener.
Form Shift to Courel :
Snap - PB > Snap > Snap > Blood > Demo > Twin > DK - Pot > Touch - Elixer Field > Bootshine - Howling > Twin - Steel > Snap - Shoulder Tackle > Dragon Kick - Forbidden Chakra > Twin Snakes > Demo.
Putting the Highest potency attacks on CD first and doing Forbidden Chakra last as it doesn't have a cooldown.
Let me know what you guys think, its long so I still haven't mastered it.
