In that regard we'll actually be a bit better off than DRG now, since they don't have anything for magical attacks. I'd say it's a fair trade personally, though I wonder if we'll get a new animation for it since the description doesn't really match the animation now.
Have u guys figured it out if the new WS after gust slash resets or refresh huton?
It extends Huton in 30 seconds, Huton timer can't go for higher than 70
So the problem of not being able to use AE is out of the window. Since 30 sec is pretty good for extension more than enought time to do AE combo.
It'll be a factor of difference in the NINs' gameplay, yup.
Edit: ... Daily post cap? what the hell kind of c.... okay I'll calm down...
Well, there is really no reason to use AC when Huton is above 40 seconds.
Running through MU, SF, DE, AE combos once each takes 18 seconds. So alternating does sound viable.

seems like it'd always be better to never have to refresh huton via ninjutsu in a 100% uptime fight then. for 2 armor crushes, you lose 80 potency compared to AE, but you get close to a full huton (60s), so in exchange for that, you can do a shuriken or a raiton, which is much more than 80 potency. with a warrior applying eye you could simply alternate AE/AC, then without a warrior, you can alternate DE/AC
Hello Zami!
Perfect Dodge was pretty useful for outright bypassing certain mechanics but it seems like this was one of the reasons why WHM Stoneskin got hit with the nerf bat. It's kinda sad but it seems like they're making sure we can't cheat any mechanics in Savage modes anymore. Everyone will have to rely on each other more than ever. I definitely see the very peak of endgame becoming more unforgiving for all roles.
i was starting to wonder how long it would take for someone to point that out, some people really dont seem the have their theorycrafting pants on today, to much hype rotting their brains :Pseems like it'd always be better to never have to refresh huton via ninjutsu in a 100% uptime fight then. for 2 armor crushes, you lose 80 potency compared to AE, but you get close to a full huton (60s), so in exchange for that, you can do a shuriken or a raiton, which is much more than 80 potency. with a warrior applying eye you could simply alternate AE/AC, then without a warrior, you can alternate DE/AC
So in the end, we only need to cast Huton at the start, then never again?
Quand la magie tombe au rythme d’un billet pris dans le vent
On reprend notre chemin et on grave un nom commun dans le néant
That is what it seems like. I'm no good at mapping out rotations but as long as we get in two of the Huton refresh in every minute or so, we should be good and not need to refresh it (unless it falls off during a phase jump or something).
