Can't decided what job to play next! BRD/MNK/NIN

Which would you pick? I do like the support aspect of BRD. Is it hard to dps or are people just complaining about nothing?

MNK also seems cool in a street fighter kind of way xD

Aaaanndddd NIN looks crazy with all the moves but I also feel like I see them everywhere.

Are You currently using parser to check DPS?
Yes--> Do You like feel that You are an important part of your group?
---------Yes --> Don´t play like BRD
---------No --> You can play what You want.
No--> You can play what You want.

True problem right now with BRD is based on next:
If You use parser, and You like feel that You are helping your group, right now, if You play like BRD, You are gonna see that BRD does less Damage than other jobs and You are not bringing support, instead You are making boss takes longer, I mean, You are "Un-supporting" your groups. It's really frustrating and I hate feel I'm a burden for my group.

If You dont use parser or You dont care your DPS, just enjoy the job, You can play what You want

This is the most nonsensical thing I've ever read. Bards are doing more relative damage now then they ever have before and support will be mandatory for savage content. There is MUCH more to helping the group besides dps numbers and unless you are parsing like a potato you will be absolutely fine with a bard.

You are archer 37...MCH 0...Your opinion is a potato itself...

Why people with no BRD or MCH take part on this posts??...I don't understand...
People who say "BRD/MCH are fine about DPS right now..." or They are writing because they are bored or They have played in parties with goods BRD/MCH and really bad pure DPS Jobs (SMN/DRG/BLM/NIN/MNK).

Because you don't have to be an artist to know that a stick figure is not fine art.

Probably because they play with them in their party from time to time.

Go BRD if you want to attack from affar and support, since you are already a white mage maybe this could be a good fit for you. (Also good for aoes)
Go MNK if you like the feeling of going pow pow piiieeeeeee.... while keeping you rotation. They have a new aoe skill havent try it... but I see a mnk and he is doing decent damage.
Go NIN if you like the feeling of shiiing... shiang... kupaaa... while keeping you roation. Sucks at aoeing...

Of the three, I went with Ninja first. It was my favorite, due to the stance, animations, etc. Post 50, you get some really cool looking animations (I'mma spin my dagger around cause reasons). You also get the ability to manipulate hate, which is awesome because it means you can come out of the gate swinging hard while sending most of your hate to the tank. I haven't taken Monk or Bard to 60 yet. But the path to 50 was fun for both, also. Monk just got frustrating to me because of GL and boss mechanics, and positions. As for Bard... I found that being able to hang back and observe the fights made it a great deal easier to learn them.

Methinks people got distracted...to answer your question OP, here's the short and skinny:

Bard just got a major change to their playstyle dynamics. but since you haven't played one, it won't impact you as it was just a change to how they played in the past. Their DPS was low on HW release, but they recently got some nice buffs, and there's not enough real world (a.k.a not a target dummy) parses to know how they are doing overal. Bard's (and MCH) tend to do better in comparison with other DPS in real world situations then on test dummies, so don't trust the dummy parses at this point.

MNK has a very set and stable rotation, but relies allot on positioning and keeping their damage/speed buffs up. they are slow w/o the speed buff, but very fast with it. yoru going to be watching your position allot. NIN has less positionals (I think they got one in HW, thats about it), but timing is everything to their mudra's. outside of that, they are a very well balanced class right now...probably one of the better balanced ones in the game atm.

Both MNK and NIN are doing fine on test dummies and in real world parses. so your decision will rest more on which playstyle you like best. MNK - set rotation of 2.5 chains of skills, shuffling positions allot. NIN = timing mudras, more flexibility outside of that, less positionals (mudras can be a pain if you have bad latency, I will say that). BRD is more about adjusting to team demands, and paying attention to the team needs with your buffs.
