The broken FFXIV Holy trinity

Yoshi....you need to make the mobs much more powerful in this game. It is clear to me that you mobs don't hit hard enough especially in dungeon. I made a post about Bad tanking habits where tanks will pull half a dungeon and force dps to just press one button.

This is cause cos you mobs don't hit hard enough. Now i notice stupid dps habits. That have also occurred. The DPS will take hate sometimes. (Usually cos they opened way to much fire before you can grab hate) Then they will keep nuking as hard as they can. Instead of stoping and letting you get hate back. Their excuse is that they are in a hurry.

They can do this cos the mob doesn't cause them serious threat. They can get away with it. This is dangerous cos this isn't how the game is meant to work (I know cos i played FFXI and understand the FF holy trinity very well) There is a lot of each of your classes that players aren't exploring cos they don't have to simply cos you made your mobs way too easy.

Are you sure its not because that we're overgearing dungeon mobs?

DPSing has always been more than one button. You won't perform high numbers if that's what you're doing, and its certainly not the case if you're clearing as fast as you say. You're severely undermining what does does. That, and they also overgear the dungeon.

in FFXI and in a lot of other game even with the best gear in the game you can't just take on 15 mobs and aoe them down. Actually i dps ninja. Here is what you do to aoe. Huton->Kassatu->Doton->Spam death blossom until you can cast either doton or maybe katon depending on the situation. Most of the time you're pressing death blossom. Yes it is one button and yes i do perform in high numbers. What else is there to do. The game design is bad with regards to mobs and it's starting to show with player habits

cos Huton reduces skill cooldown meaning i can get more Death blossoms out.

Why would you use Huton for AoE instead of Doton > Kassatsu > Katon

Because the skill speed is useful for spamming death blossom, and a lot of ninjas don't know this but doton cast with kassatsu make every damage of the dot critical so it does more damage than kassatsu+katon.

For the dungeon mobs, honestly even if they were doing more damage they wouldn't be much more of a threat. Sure you wouldn't be able to pull several packs, but they would just become those annoying thing in your way between 2 boss on an easy dungeon you'll have to spam everyday for 3 month straight.

It's content aimed for casual so when people geared for end raid walk them, sure it become totally unchallenging whatsoever. Won't stop the adds to crush the dps that thought it was a good idea to pull them before your tank on t13.

This made me laugh, most of the DPS jobs could succesfully tank in FFXI. Ive solo tanked upto and including Delve as MNK and DNC. Stack up on PDT and MDT gear, sub WAR or DNC for voke and you could tank as pretty much any job. Holy Trinity? For a large part of the life of FFXI SMN was used as a main healer because of the massive mana pool compared to other jobs. NIN was meant as a DPS (or DD using FFXI nomelature) but players were able to use shadows as a form of damage mitigation to tank with.

MNK made a stand up tank due to high HP pool and able to maintain enmity from the pure damage output.

Hell, taking a tank was sub optimal for a lot of content because it meant less DPS.

Delve.....do you realise when I was talking about in FFXI. I was talking pre-delve and pre-easy mode FFXI.

I'm sorry the intelligence and compentence level I get from a lot of these comments is beyond stupid
