I have the solution, lower Ninja's AOE DPS. This is about "Broken Trinity" right?
That would mean you couldn't kill the mobs as fast, tank runs out of CDs and he dies before all of them die. This fixes your solution and balances classes better.

An i126 Dragoon tanking against an i55 Tank isn't as broke as you'd like to make it out to be. The game encourages you to upgrade gear. How do you expect a Tank TRYING to get their first relic weapon using an i48 sword to hold against a Dragoon with an i110 Lance? You don't. That's not broken, that's forcing gear progression so people don't feel it acceptable to sit on outdated weapons.

I'm guessing you didn't play when dungeons were actually harder?
Don't get me wrong, I liked those a lot more but SE obviously got feedback to nerf them and enough to move forward with easier dungeons.
I guess people want a chiller time doing dungeons.
Groups giving up on the old Pharo Sirius or Copperbell Mines (HM) messed with people's dps queues and casual play time.
Though they are making the outside world more dangerous. It's possible that the dungeons may be a bit harder.
It'd be a little weird if outside mobs are tougher than dungeon mobs.
I may not be happy about dungeons being trivial, but they're more for casual gearing anyway.
That design doesn't affect raids, so I'm okay with dungeons being more accessible for others.
Side note:
Fuuton should be on you well before any mass pull so that you don't lose time putting it on when you're actually ready to AoE.
It should be Katon > Kassatsu > Doton, then spam Death Blossom. You can Death Blossom beforehand if you have to wait for Mudras to reset from Fuuton.

That would lower your DPS, Ninja's have a lot of AOE DPS. That would mean that the mobs would not all die before the tank runs out of CDs. That means it wouldn't die, therefore said mobs would be alive, and said mobs would wipe the group.
Ninja's have good support, good utility, and very high DPS Single Target AND AOE. Shaving off their AOE dps would balance them out a bit.
It would also fix the issue.
I do play Tank. Sorry it's not that complex. Further more i play tank better than you cos i know there is a lot more to tanking than pulling 20 mobs and praying for your cooldowns not to run outI see you don't play a tank Sir. To survive such encounters you need to manage all of your cooldowns and make sure they are all up in order. "Mashing" them tells me you don't know a THING your talking about. You have to manage your CDs perfectly, and then you have to hope said mobs are DEAD before you run out of CDs.
How is that broken? A dragoon can effectively tank if a pld/war die. I've done it a few times myself. They got keen flurry for parry. It gives the healer time to raise and keeps others from dying. He is doing a good thing.
Think you keep forgetting, we are all so geared that most of the things don't phase us anymore. As another person mentioned. This is what the players wanted things to be easier. SE did what was wanted. Now if they make things stronger, people will whine again. You can't make everyone happy unfortunately.
Only other thing I can say to this topic is Heavensward- Please look forward to it.
Need to stop mixing up overgearing with being nerfed. Tanking a ilvl 55 area with an ilvl 126 dragoon means nothing in regards to how easy something is. Try doing titan HM in a party that's in only AF gear with darklight weapon (if you can even queue for that because of ilvl requirements) or the bare minimum, then try to tell us that it's "too easy".
The examples that keep getting brogue up are in regards to extremely dated content and we're at the end of the game cycle with ilvl 130 equips from tomestones. Hell, even expert dungeons become outgeared as soon as they come out which is what I hope they avoid in 3.0.
