Eh, I wouldn't say it does nothing. Figure that the 20%+ figure you have includes Barrage. WM will either have something to account for Barrage, or you'll probably be dropping WM for Barrage anyway, which means you either won't lose the full 20% of AA damage or WM will wind up accounting for more than the stated 25%.
