She was talking about the loot after the next Boss (loot for a fight she was participating)Personally, I do not roll on a piece of loot if I didn't participate in the fight. It would have been better to ask the other healer if he/she wouldn't have minded you rolling against them, normally I don't have a problem with "if you're that class, go ahead and roll on it" but when you had 0 participation in the fight, the courteous thing to do would have been to ask.
This situation really depends on your personal morals. I don't believe in taking what I didn't earn... at least not without asking first.
You did nothing wrong that loot was yours to win. There is no unwritten rule about loot drops when using the Duty Finder. If you need it and you can and you want it, then need it.
Other healer was just hurt because they were probably farming X piece for days and lost it when it dropped. Tough luck keep farming, that's how it works.
It took me 3 weeks to get the Healing Robe, and not once did I complain because that's how it works.
The only times when loot rules apply is when you are doing specific things if your Guild or friends and specify aspects if they are even needed, Otherwise anyone that complains about loosing loot needs to grow up, Thats just the harsh reality of the way it works. You are not entitled to ANYTHING.
There is no unwritten rule for loot when you're pugging in DF, and you should have left too after they bitched at you rather than take their abuse.
No, it's my fault for being stupid, lol. Don't worry about it. I'm only human! I have brain farts sometimes. XD
[EDIT] Everyone likes this post because I said I was stupid. Y'all are harsh, LOL.

DF=/=PF. This was a DF group, not a PF group... you didn't enter knowing and accepting player-made loot rules. Even if they had asked you not to roll on it, you still had a right to. Upgrade or not. You did your fair share of work in a DF PuG.
IF they were an FC group, and wanted their healer to get a piece of gear, one of them could have rolled heals. That way their healer friend wouldn't of had any competition. If none of them had healers leveled... well it's too bad. Loosing on a lot was a risk he or she should have accepted.
I agree with what other people have said - this guy was just being a drama queen. Everyone has their drama queen days though. Don't take it personally and move on.

As others have said, roll on what you want.
Duty Finder has no rules. The end.
I've actually had this happen as well. I joined at the last boss, and we proceeded to wipe three times to people trolling, but eventually we won. A piece of gear popped up for my SMN that I needed so I lotted it and won. I was then met with fierce criticism, very bad name-calling and was even told that I was being reported to GM's. All for rolling on loot, that I felt, I was just as entitled to as I participated in the fight. THREE TIMES IN FACT. Its not like I was standing around doing nothing. I was fighting and doing my job. (properly mind you I was not the troll keeping us from the win.)
Whether you join at the start or the end, you are just as entitled to the loot as anyone else provided you are actually doing your job.
