I like using Esuna but sometimes it's annoying to use because it's not clear if an effect is able to be dispelled or not.

I'd actually love to see some flashing like what can be esuna/leech off of a player so that it's easier to notice when something negative is on your character.

My main problem with status effect is that you don't know if its a status buff that's used for that job.
They need to make it to make it color-coded. Status buff = blue, status debuff/ailment = red
Like I said in my original reply unavoidable paralysis. But I understand, reading is hard.Because if you are getting hit with paralysis, you more than likely weren't doing your job of dodging it. And BLMs can and should be using Spine drops?
I'm not saying Healers shouldn't be using Enusa/Leeches. But when you get hit by avoidable status, you not only cut your DPS but Healer DPS as well, which is can be more significant than not being able to use Fire 1 for a second.

If I see a debuff, I'm gonna leechy it.
Sometimes I miss the warrior debuff. Sorry lol
Imo people who get annoyed with war macros with beserk - I can't phantom why. If they are making a macro - they must at least care about their class to some significant to look up online or / create one to help a healer.
If it bothers you just tell them. Communication is key. I mean they can't read your mind.
Hell half of the time the ones with sound macros wake me up >.> It makes me remember the days of falling asleep at my keyboard in FFXI. Those call macros just go right through me. Just my feelings on it. lol
The icons have a pointed top or bottom. Buffs point up, Debuffs point down.
My hope is PLDs get Esuna as a cross-class after the level cap goes up. Wont need to rely on others anymore. Also would be usefull in solo play.
It is a known fact that any and all healers that actively ignore curing a WAR's pacify from Berserk are Humanity's Greatest Monsters.
I always use Leeches when I can, and like many other healers I follow a tier. Healers first, then tank, and then dps. There are also many other factors that go into it such as if it is about to fall off anyway I am not going to waste my time, my mp, and your time to even bother removing it because at that point it really is pointless. or for poisons as others say that get reapplied like in WP HM with the slimes.
The only other times I don't use Leeches is if you are a moron and always getting caught in avoidable aoe (especially Morbol's), or if you are the idiot who decided to pull two rooms worth of stuff and use berserk and then proceed to not use any defensive cool downs and then start pestering me by spamming your stupid pacification macro until pacification is gone when I am obviously WAY too busy trying to keep you alive because again you didn't use cool downs. Btw normally I have no problem with the macro it is a nice heads up, but please for the love of all don't spam it.
Any other time that Leeches/Esuna isn't use when it can't be, well someone is doing it wrong. *cough*WoD*cough*

Don't generalize. Bad players are bad players. End of thread.I have lost count of all the times I seen healers just stand there an ignore status effects they can remove. So whats the deal? Why do they absolutely refuse to remove debuffs? If the tank is dying then thats fine. I can understand that. But if everything is comfortable and you have plenty of mana, why not? A slow slows down the whole party because less dps = slower clears. The same can be said for paralysis. The stun can proc right inside of an AOE and kill the person making the team lose even more DPS and making you waste more mana because you were stingy about who to help.
I've been playing as a healer lately and I remove every debuff I can. So whats the deal?
