Is there some unspoken rule to not use Esuna/Leech?

I have lost count of all the times I seen healers just stand there an ignore status effects they can remove. So whats the deal? Why do they absolutely refuse to remove debuffs? If the tank is dying then thats fine. I can understand that. But if everything is comfortable and you have plenty of mana, why not? A slow slows down the whole party because less dps = slower clears. The same can be said for paralysis. The stun can proc right inside of an AOE and kill the person making the team lose even more DPS and making you waste more mana because you were stingy about who to help.

I've been playing as a healer lately and I remove every debuff I can. So whats the deal?

bad healers are going to be bad healers. A lot of people think it's the easy option to play but at high level it requires a lot of skill. I'd love to see them add 8 man content that only allows one healer so the bad healers can finally be called out and not get carried by good healers.

The only status effect I usually don't bother to Esuna/Leech is a WAR's pacify after Berserk use - especially if they have a macro with it that spams a sound effect.

By the time you're done healing everyone and noticing that, it goes away in like 2 seconds, so it's never a big deal.
Mind you, I try but I am sure they can hold aggro for 2 seconds lol. It's just a waste of anyones time.

Common responses from bad healers include:

"It costs too much mana "
"Its easier to just heal you while waiting for the debuff to come off "
    "I have a purge spell!? REALLY!? "

Typically I remove paralysis/slow from myself, then casters, then tank, then melee. I tend to ignore removing poison unless its from wolfsbane in WOD and I sometimes forget to remove pacification on WARs. Most of the healers you've run into sound lazy.

you should remove paralysis first from the casters (especially the healers) because it can interrupt the casts over and over again. annoying for the physiscal classes too, but worse on casters. and the weight debuff first from meeles, because they have to move around the boss for attacking from different positions.

i don't diespell debuffs that only lasts 3 seconds or less, because it's useless xD

one big problem are the huge amount of different debuffs with the same symbol.

The unspoken rule is apparently to not to play your class correctly, period. Not just healers.

I've start having Anti-Dotes with me when I do WoD, incase Wolvesbanes poisons me(its very strong!!)!
Even as tank, poison status didnt got healed by healers! e.e; (cant tell how often I falled because of Poison)

    As healer:
I feel like Im the only healer in WoD raids removing negative status' o_O
Maybe other healers dont know those paralyze from chimera, poisons from wolvebanes and electric from cerberus can be healed! o__o
