There was a dps who questioned me why i didnt leech disease from the octopus head thing just right before the last boss of tam tara deepcroft hard.. At that time i was dpsing as scholar.. He said that I MUST remove all debuff and that's healers job.. However i just answered that i'm a slacker healer, so i'm slacking so much.. I never have any idea why disease could be such a Big thing when it hit a dps that doesnt even get hit..

However in my view, most people i've met tend to complain much about scholar healing because their mindset think that scholar let their pet heals, while they dont even notice that at times a scholar can even heal and dps even better than sloppy dps..

I like using Esuna but sometimes it's annoying to use because it's not clear if an effect is able to be dispelled or not.

My main problem with status effect is that you don't know if its a status buff that's used for that job.

They need to make it to make it color-coded. Status buff = blue, status debuff/ailment = red

The icons have a pointed top or bottom. Buffs point up, Debuffs point down.

I'd actually love to see some flashing like what can be esuna/leech off of a player so that it's easier to notice when something negative is on your character.

If I see a debuff, I'm gonna leechy it.

Sometimes I miss the warrior debuff. Sorry lol

Imo people who get annoyed with war macros with beserk - I can't phantom why. If they are making a macro - they must at least care about their class to some significant to look up online or / create one to help a healer.

If it bothers you just tell them. Communication is key. I mean they can't read your mind.

Hell half of the time the ones with sound macros wake me up >.> It makes me remember the days of falling asleep at my keyboard in FFXI. Those call macros just go right through me. Just my feelings on it. lol

My hope is PLDs get Esuna as a cross-class after the level cap goes up. Wont need to rely on others anymore. Also would be usefull in solo play.

It is a known fact that any and all healers that actively ignore curing a WAR's pacify from Berserk are Humanity's Greatest Monsters.

Made a post about this a couple of months ago and we had a good discussion about this. I try to remove any time I can but without some sort of heads up it's tough to remove it quickly. Most of the time when I see it, I'm mid cast on another spell. I've seen a couple of tanks use macros that say "need leeches in 4...." makes it 100% easier on everyone.

As someone who doesn't get a lot of TP from his support, my pacification is my me-time. I actually go out of my way to tell people not to esuna/leech my pacification. I'm not expecting to be ready to attack in those five seconds, nor do I really wish to.
Yes, it's a huge DPS gain for the warrior, but in larger, longer fights (looking at you, coil) my TP drain is a serious concern. And my tank build has 0 added skill speed at that! Rockin' that slow 2.5 GCD.

On the subject of overall esuna/leech uses, I find a lot of healers don't think they can remove it since there's a lot they can't, and simply never try. Odin is a fine example. I can straight up tank that guy the entire fight if a healer can keep on top of the stacking vulnerability debuff he gives me. But more often than not, most healers simply don't think they can, so they don't try. And it leads to my death oh so often.
