Could care less....
Could care less....
This thread is a big lol. *grabs popcorn*
You mean you'll treat them as tools to further you own ends, right? What is wrong with people, really?
Yes, the people I play with are human beings.
Yes, I will treat them like human beings.
No, they will never, for any reason or under any circumstance take priority over my family or friends because of course they won't, there would have to be something wrong with my brain to even consider that a viable option.
At least be honest about it.
Visit Japan, and try to play ninja or monk... if you dont feel a noticeable difference in "lag" then i will quit and never bother you any more!Lag is the fallback excuse in 95% of cases when someone has failed to react in time to a mechanic. It's the actual reason the other 5% of times unless your internet currently consists of two cups tied together with string.
PS: I live in the EU and I can count the times I've actually had lag issues without having to resort to my toes.
Just as sidenote: physically you have underwater cable connecting EU with NA where ALL connections are going through, it is physically impossible for you to have "no" lag issues!

It isn't important. Endgame raiding was never going to see high completion rates. Such content is tailor-made for a small fraction of the community, after all.
Ya in the English servers it seams you mess up a few times you get labeled that you suck then you get blocked from party's for this stuff. Watching a video and reading a guide only do so much some people learn netter by doing that stuff then by actually getting real exp in it.
Then why couldn't you have just said that from the very beginning instead of trying this "social experiment"?I said it was embarrassing, but I never said why or even guided the conversation to a specific reason because I wanted to see what people would say and how they would react to the data. It's been fun seeing how people make assumptions about what I meant despite how I never specified why I thought it was embarrassing.
I do want to add this though since I've seen this reply mentioned often. Just because some people don't want to do coil and prefer other content does not explain away the discrepancy. They don't have 100% completion either so obviously that aspect isn't exclusive to us and can't be the exclusive reason for the data we see here. Just some food for thought.
Back to watching and observing.
You have lots of contributing factors that include things like:
A lot of NA players are burnt out on raiding and less responsive to what they might consider "grindy"
JP servers generally seem much more sociable and less prone to snobbing/elitism.
Differing cultures, you have people in NA who aren't willing to treat the game like a job and want things easier, jp players are.. dedicated is the word I think I would use.
Because, Alexander or no Alexander, this has still been a point of contention among the NA community. For many different reasons, probably more than what Tiggy had in her OP.
We're talking about in a raid stance, right?
If you do this, this is bad...really bad and rude. People make plans to raid on specific days in statics for everyone's convenience.
You're better off telling your friend "Hey I can't today...or maybe later at this hour.."
Because other people had took time off from family/friends to do a piece of stuff they wanna do. You're screwing them over.
Make sure you DON'T MAKE PLANS on static days/nights. If you can't commit to the times, you need to leave
or go to a different one. This would irritate me because you ruined my and everyone else's time.
You have got to be considerate to other people in the game some times folks.
