    Because the implementation of this "thing" would have huge consequences that supporters of this thread are not willing/able to see. This would ruin market and recruiting, they just won't admit it because they're so bothered by the RMT.

    People want control. So since SE is doing little to nothing, people want to take control over the situation.

    As soon as SE comes to their senses and fixes the issue, people will no longer care. SE is very big on community so I highly doubt they would put anything in game as restrictive as this. They just, historically, take their time to deal with stuff like this.
