    FFXIV Heavensward Collector's Edition question

    I have not seen this answered anywhere, so I want to ask, if we already have the Collectors Edition of XIV will we need to also buy the collector's edition of Heavensward to get the special items or will we already get them? also if we have to buy the collector's edition seperately will we be able to upgrade?

    This is an expansion, not a rebuild so yes. If you want the ingame items, you will need to get the collectors edition. Same goes for the physical items.

    This is an expansion, so yes, you will need to buy the CE edition of Heavensward to obtain your items.

    If you do not plan on getting the CE right now, you can upgrade any time. Almost similar to how you upgraded your standard ARR edition to CE.
