    God I hate people that do this, I was going to start a thread called "If you're going to go, just go!" but this one seems to cover it. I hate when someone just d/c's on purpose and the rest of the party has to wait for the kick timer, or they're actually the ones polite enough to give the person the benefit of the doubt they didn't intentionally d/c. Like when someone somehow happens to d/c after loot drops and gets rolled on in WoD... depending on the party's ability to continue without them, I've talked the party into not kicking those people just so we could enjoy the awkwardness when they show back up 10-15 min later.

    Bahaha! I remember those days before there even was a penalty for abandoning. The number of people that dove out the window when they drew Titan from the hat was hilarious!

    Anyway, back on topic. I gladly eat the 30 minute "penalty", often times without even a word said. Better to take 30 minutes to cool off and do something else (make money, mgp, etc) than go on some frivolous, insult-laden rant against someone you'll probably never see again anyway.

    Sorry but, I'm not a teacher. I'm not teaching fights. They should watch a video and stop forcing members to adapt the role of teachers.

    There really needs to be a penalty (lets say 30m) for being kicked for this reason. I'd say a 3 strike rule

    Agreed; it seems like it should be against the ToS to just d/c and not use the leave option. That's what it's there for. Had a party member type \dc in party chat once after first trash mob in ST, then nothing happened, and then a couple of seconds later they disconnected. People that do that sort of thing should have their account suspended, especially if there's repeated instances of intentional d/c's.

    How can you prove that it's not a legitimate disconnect? If they aren't flat out telling you that they're going to force d/c, there's no way they could enforce a rule like that.

    <--- The perfect rage-quitter --->

    Lord Ragequitter: "Oh, seems we are not going to finish this."
    Another player: "Full of noobs?"
    Lord Ragequitter: "No, not that, I'd say that... It's just we have not very good team coordination, neither luck, neither knowledge of the situation and strategy... It's not someone's fault, nor everyone's fault but... We are clearly not prepared for it, can we abandon?"
    Player 3: "No, we still going"
    Player 4: "Eat the 30 min debuff if you want so"
    Lord Ragequitter: "It's okay, then, I'll make my leave and eat with pride those thirty minutes while I craft and get some tea... I wish you all the luck you could and that you find a better replacement than me, or, those wanting to remake and find a more compatible team take advantage of this chance to not get the penalty. Best wishes!"

    *Lord Ragequitter ragequits*

    IT AIN'T HAPPENING....

    Well, I have seen a less exaggerated version of that once... But I was the one who ragequitted, so.... D:.... (And yes, crafting time)
