    They are more realistic than Alphinaud and they are right (and Alphinaud realized that, he must play by the rules if he wants to win, the world isn't all pink), they can't just ask their soldiers to stop what they were doing ( fighting beast tribes and protecting the city ) to help someone that never helped them when they wanted them to, they did send help, not a lot sure, but they did, the scene where they all congratulates each others for the battle of Ishgard is just politics, it's outrageous of course but at least they try to do their best for their people. Again, when they leave it's because they can't do anything to help unfortunately.

    I agree. I found Alph's indignant attitude frankly annoying. Easy for him to be critical when he's not responsible for an entire nation. Especially given Ishgard's prior "neutrality". Trying to sell your citizens and soldiers on being the bigger person would be very difficult to put it mildly.

    And yet Limsa was all too ready to run to the Scions and Warrior of Light, on their knees begging for salvation from the wrath of the beast tribes they themselves antagonized.
