Punished?? The punishment was playing 1.0 lol

The people who have Legacy, Moon Earrings, Gobbues etc. MORE than earned them. That is a fact. You have no idea.

Semantics. The fact is when 1.0 went subscription, if no one had paid, it would have died. 2.0 only exists because of those who decided to sub to 1.0 - Legacy or not.

But it's not an argument of semantics. 1.23 only existed because of people that paid, legacy or not. 2.0 was already on the way when people were being charged. To say that people subscribing to 1.0 made SE decide to make 2.0 is just rewriting history and it is ignoring the fact that ARR had been in development for a year before anyone was charged and that 1.0 was still being serviced/worked on. There's no way that the subscriptions of 1.0 players could sustain the development of 2 games (2.0 and 1.0) and the upkeep of one (1.0), when it couldn't even sustain the development of 1. SE didn't make or fund a new game because people started paying for a game that they couldn't get people to play while it was free. The lack of 1.0 subscriptions would have resulted in one thing, the earlier sunsetting of 1.0.
