Weapon damage is linear. It goes up the same for every ilvl. You are attaching a % to a linear function and can't figure out why it doesn't match. With the current trend they set, weapon damage will increase by a smaller % every ilvl because it's adding the same linear damage.

Every 10 ilvls starting from ilvl 50 (50,60,70,80 etc) weapon damage has increased by 2 or 3 all the way to 130 for physical weapons (excludes caster and bard cuz they have different scales). No more. No less. Adding 2 damage at Lv 50 to 60 brings WD from 37 to 39. Is a 5.4% increase. The same 2 damage boost between ilvl 100 to 110 (49 to 51) is only 4.1% because a static linear increase will be a smaller part of the whole cuz you starting base damage is growing but the boost isnt. But this is made up for by the rest of your gear, main stat and secondaries which all come in greater quantities as ilvl goes up, thus upping total ilvl creates very large dps increases.

From ilvl 50 to 130 (80 ilvls) we have gained 20 wd. That avg to 0.25 wd per lvl. Or 2.5 every 10. 1.25 for every 5. Amazingly all 5 lol increments have been 1 to 2 (1.25 avg). Every 10 has been 2 to 3 (2.5 avg). Some basic logic tells you they are just rounding thus all 10 lvl is 2-3. Every 5 being 1-2 but usually 1.

    It's not broken. It's a pattern.
