135 weapon damage scaling

So i finished my relic and i felt my damage didn't go as high as i was expecting it to go. when i did some math i realized that even though the relic ilvl had grown by roughly 18% compared to a 115 weapon the 135 weapon damage had only increased roughly 9%. Why is this? I mean is not like dps is a problem but why not increase the damage with the ilvl and make a real difference?

So what you're saying is you see minimal difference in damage between an i115 weapon and an i135 weapon?
