As blm i can tell you that (this is given that you use B3 T1 B rotation):

    - WD weights for 6.65 int
    - Det for 0.265
    - SSP for 0.282 (depends on the rotation and slightly increases with your total SSp. This is my ratio with 643 SSp)
    - Crit for 0.238

Then make the calculation for every weapon to get the total intel equivalent score.

This is roughly poportionnal with the dps increase from a weapon to another but you need to keep in mind that:

-after a certain CRT percentage the gain from each new crit point slightly decreases

-this is exactly the opposite for SSP

The i135 title means craps. It only means that the total amount of secondary stats is capped at 91 (if i remember well. Never managed to go above 89 on mine because of the lolrounding when you split between 3 stats) and that you have the WD and primary stats amount of a 135 wpn.

best way to compare two weapons is here.

i'll try to measure dps again when i get 2 pieces i'm missing from coil and have everything BiS.. but right now i went from roughly 500 dps to just 540 ish from 115 weapon to 135 when in reality the expection was closer to 580/590

Well assuming you actually do have BiS (or close to - I can't see your gear since you logged out as a different class), and assuming your numbers are tested on a dummy then yeah you're not maximising dps sorry. I barely see an opener under 600 and hover around the 575-610 mark over three minutes in gear like mine that is still missing a fair few pieces from Coil.

I don't think I've ever seen 540 even at my lowest point of damage.

Dude this is not shocking imo.

From 115 to 135 weapon my dps increased from 490 to 530 in average T10 runs for example. Fact is i can hit 560 if i feel sexy. Ii admit that I tend to be a bit lazy now that the stress is gone

My average Fire I without crit was 1090ish with the Nexus and it is 1205 now (If this ever makes sense as im stacking SSp not DET)

your 10% "only" increase doesnt seem abnormal :-) it is already a big jump.

i wouldn't call it a big jump... but yeah i don't think it's abnormal is just a bit of a disappointing design

Curious, how much DPS were you expecting to gain going from 115 to 135?

I raised the ilvl of my belt by 22% and didn't see anywhere near a 22% increase in damage, the system is broken!!!!

You also realize +2-3 dmg on the weapon at ilvl 80-90 is a more significant increase than the same increase at 125-135. In order for the DPS increase to be linear with ilvl, it would have to scale the DMG of the weapon instead.

Since they are making the DMG static with ilvl increase, the returns to DPS will be the stat that scales. And it will in effect be diminishing returns as the base damage increases, the 2-3 point increases become less % of an improvement.

As some others have said, the increase isn't linear by percentage but by raw numbers. If it was linear by percentage that'd be exponential growth. About 20 DPS is common for every 3 weapon damage. So the 5 weapon damage and 40 DPS increase is normal. Back in the day going from relic to zenith was something crazy like 20%. This is also because as the weapons grow so do all of our other gear.

Also, x5 weapons usually had 2 wd over x0 weapons, the last tier had only 1 wd.

is not "a piece of gear" is the weapon, where the damage comes from

secondary stats doing little to no difference is common knowledge, you can do the testing yourself or google it.

i was actually looking at weapons right now and they seem to go up 3 wd every 5 ilvls i guess is a different system than i expected.. case closed :P.

pd: thanks for the intelligent response. those are lacking in this forum
