9 months is a lot of time. Certainly 5 years for example is even longer; but that does not make 9 months any less of a long time.
As did I. I don't have anything left from my legacy time as a result, apart from a bonus fantasia.
But that is fine with me, because after all it was I that decided to stop playing (whether by choice or not)
Aye, they move on. Moving on means letting go. I recently left WoW. Not the first time I've done so, but it took me 10 years to do while also deleting all of my characters. What would the point be in keeping my characters if I dont play?
In case I want to come back? In case you want to come back?
You didn't pay for the game for 9 months. Exactly on what basis do you assume that you have a right to hold game content ''hostage'' just in the case you might come back?
If a house is that important for someone they will find a way to keep their house.
Why do you think plots are limited? Part of the reason is due to FC/personal sharing wards. But a huge reason as well is because a) people own multiple plots, and b) a lot of plots are owned by players that either make no use of their house or don't even play the game.(anymore)
Your number comparison of the cactpot and amount of plots is a poor argument. It actually shows a favorable amount of plots compared to the amount of actively playing people. Less then 1/5 of people even have the desire to obtain a house to begin with; and that includes those that only use it for the convienient teleporting/mb/gardening or ''just because''
From what I can tell a lot of (smaller houses, and perhaps medium) are bought just for the sake of having a house rather then people really wanting one. Personally I wouldnt mind if they added something you had to do on a daily (for example, doesnt have to be daily per se) basis for 3 months to be able to buy a house at all. (regardless of its cost or size)
That wouldnt really help with the current plots, but with new plots it should give more of a chance for anyone that reaaally wants that house to obtain one, rather then someone that buys it and never uses it.
In other words, have it involve a grind that isnt gil related.
