Well, thanks for the reduced MP cost SE. When it comes to choosing between BLM and SMN now, I guess I'll go with SMN because obviously, the recource management on the SMN is a lot better now than on my BLM. Oh wait, BLM has infinite recources and still shits on SMN damage wise? Guess I'll throw SMN out of the window. Thank you for the half assed (in the meantime buff), when you could address gear issues or at least a small damage buff. You do not care for the class, you do not care for its playerbase, because this is a disgraceful thing. Thanks though

That's what I thought too. Out of all SMN specific spells, they picked the most basic Arcanist spell orz

If they had buff SMN anymore the buff would have just made Sch broken. But according to Yoshida we should be using Ruin 2 and book smacking enemies, so it's time to add book smacking to my rotation. Smh :/

Yeah, I agree with this. There could have been a few more ways to buffing SMN without affecting SCH. I mean, there's all those skills (ie: fester, tri-disaster, enkindle) and egi (ie: ifrit's radiant shield) that needed to be changed/fixed and all we get is some basic pos buff that will increase our damage by like 5 dps if we can even book smack more. In some instances, I, for one, can't do that constantly in t10, 12, and 13, and even if I could ruin II+book smack, there will probably still be mp issues, so either way this doesn't even matter much. I should just change to BLM right now cause I have the i135 dreadwyrm weapon so why should my SMN matter anymore... :/

..so it's time to add book smacking to my rotation. Smh :/

As of today SMN for me is history, it's garbage. I am sick of trying on a class in which I am equally skilled on my BLM and to bring NOTHING worthwhile in comparison to BLM.
Want burst? Get a BLM. Want high ST magical damage? Get a BLM. Want high AoE magical damage? Get a BLM. Want unique utility outside of a SCH? Get a BLM. Want infinite resources so you don't shit on your BRD? Get a BLM.

You want to do some sub par magical damage and slap things with your books, and do stuff a SCH can also do and DOES do? Well, get a fucking SMN then. Gj again, SE. Well done, bravo, incompetent people.

Simple you get over 20 topic on how BLM is so weak vs SMN now and they need to get a buff too. Which then turn make BLM better again and smn would make 20 topic about how smn are weak again You can't make everyone happy.

Also SMN would never be better then BLM because yoshi-p main job is BLM so he make sure his fav job is a good dps lmao.
