Never really had mp issues before so this doesnt change anything. Being able to Ruin 2 more isnt going to magically allow me to match the BLMs doing 550 dps in T10 (personal high is 500ish). pathetic change imo

I guess that's something... but come on, really, SE?! That's it?! What about a higher base piety and a shorter enkindle and anything else that would help a bit? =_=

I mean I was hoping for a little more but depending on how much the MP cost was reduced this could significantly reduce our MP consumption. I was a little hopeful for some minor potency increases. BLM AoE blows SMN AoE out of the water mostly because bane is capped at 3 additional targets, and a lot of adds are burst down meaning they don't get the full duration of DoTs. SMN single target was already around even with BLM before this and as we probably won't need to energy drain as much that'll be a single target DPS increase.
SMN is definitely not on par with BLM when it comes to single target, don't you remember T8? Even without mp issues there was no way I was going to match a turret BLM in that fight
Step 1. Collectively argue that MP consumption is a major problem for summoners
Step 2. SE announces reduced cost on certain summoner spells
Step 3. Complain a lot about the announcement
Step 4. ???
Well for me at least, it'll make me feel more comfortable going back to my Ruin-->Ruinra combination. Felt like I had to cut it off due to mp issues.
It's still leaving a bad taste that they just don't think it through - at least they are not giving the impression to do so. I still have the feeling they just hate the class with passion.
We'll see how much the cost reduction actually is, my bet's on 25% but that's already generous.
If Ruin I & II's mana cost is lowered enough to allow for more Festers, the buff could actually help a lot. Guess we'll only know when the patch goes live and people start raiding. :V
I already used ZERO energy drains before this (ok, maybe 1-2 in T10). Outside of that, I never use it.
