They made absolutely no effort to make a female version of the Noct set. Im sure players can think of more examples. When there are differences in male and female designs its for all the wrong reasons or unnecessary. *Cough drg and nin af *cough*

Noct Lorica is horrible for plenty of reasons on females and lots of people complain about female DRG for stupid reasons(love the practicality reasoning in a game where we virtually fight gods) and what is wrong with Female Nin now? The fact she's based on the Kunoichi look?
