And that is why you are getting those reactions.

Pre-frontlines the grind was eeeven longer. as you could get (iirc) max 100 exp per game. It has already been nerfed sooo much
How is everyone arriving at the assumption that I dont like pvp when I'm grinding my ass off everyday and suffering through one hour ques and losses? Please explain ...
I just want to FEEL like I'm not wasting my time, this isnt my fault, its a fault in game design. Even if the grind was quadrupled as long as I FEEL like I'm getting something I have no problem with it. But right now I'm grinding for air.

Because you use terms like "suffering" but not "and enjoying the matches."

YOU want the "grind" shortened. Seems like the overwhelming majority disagrees, and for good cause: When people see a level 50 bard, they don't go "WOW! That person is really dedicated!" When you see a level 50 bard in full birdliege gear, people do pause for a moment, because it's rare. It's rare because it's not easy.

PvP isn't meant to be a game of instant gratification. Stop whining about it and either play because you like it... or stop playing.

I used "suffering" to describe the long queues ... learn to read please. I see you also conveniently left out the other part I said that makes your argument bs. You cant fail harder than this folks.

It actually is your fault you feel that way because it's not all about getting gear. For me, gear was the last thing on my mind. Sure it's important, but what excites me the most are the PVP points (Rank 45 atm) and how creative I can be with skills. The difference from upgrading skills is very real (from WHM/SCH perspective). On top of that, all the 'grinding' affords me strong strategic knowledge that enhances both personal performance and overall achievement for my group. Few examples (again, from WHM/SCH perspective):

    - Mastering the distance and angles needed to knock players off mid (NEVER gets old. EVER.)
    - Using walls (LoS)
    - Knowing which melees are 'safer' to deal with than others

The list goes on and I'm sure everyone that actually enjoys PvP has lists of their own. I don't think about rank grind at all, I'd que even if there were no ranks because I find it very enjoyable. If all you take away from PvP is monotonous grinding for gear, I don't know what to tell you. It's no different from people that only join for the Poe/Sol.

Atm I cant afford to be creative with skills I have to prioritize whats best for the team and myself as a SCH, maybe when I hit 45, sure. I still plan to que even when I have no reason too, I'm not saying I want gear now QQ I'm saying couldnt the rank system be done in a way that feels more "progressive?" *sigh* idk no matter how much I repeat myself this doesnt seem to register. I hope this is /thread.
