Look, I've professionally pvp'd in a lot of games and I have absolutely no problem with grind. It's inevitable and if done well it can give you something to aspire to. The problem I have is USELESS grind and zero progression. I guarantee you this system wasn't put in place to encourage players, but to stall them and drag out subs. I regrind pvp gear every season in WoW and I do it with a smile. But this? This is utter bs.

It take a day of bgs in wow to be in full honor gear. It would take hours to get full conquest gear if it wasnt for the weekly lockout.

WoW and grind don't fit in the same sentance. Not everyone's first mmo was the one made for the "Everybody is a winner!" generation

The old pre-2.0 pvp system for WoW was the shit. That's when pvp gear and pvp titles like grand marshal and high warlord actually meant something. FFXIV's pvp kind of reminds of that right now. Its difficult to attain and I enjoy the exclusivity of it.
