Are relic weapons ever going to be useful?

It's not really self-earned. You still have to do dungeons which requires a party.

I feel more rewarded getting a good item with friends, than by myself.

I felt good about myself getting the blm armor in 1.0 with a hard quest, than it being handed to you in 2.0.

It's the same practically as relic vs Coil gear. Both get replaced fast with each major patch anyway. So go for the one you can obtain quicker, which is coil.

Sorry, it is Self earned. Solo Q'ing is Solo play. "I" had to do MOST/Almost all steps SOLO to finish this quest. Coil is pointless to " Me" It cant be done alone. Please read "Cant Be Done Alone . I'am unwilling to work with others. "I" feel others hold me back. "I' like to make my own way in the world. I like the Relic Quest.
