Are relic weapons ever going to be useful?

I like the Relic Quest has is, without this quest I may have stopped playing this game. I dont do much endgame stuff or care much about Ex primals.
Also, I wouldnt have any weapons if this quest wasn't the game.

Youre missing the point. It's not the best weapon in the game for all the work you put into it. Why not just spam T13 for Deadwyrm weapons?

Oh please stop already with your T13 weapon. It gets really old listening to this crowd. The current relic is a good weapon and worth the time and effort by LOTS OF PEOPLE. I have most of my friends working on them and some who already have their Zodiacs.

But how is it worth it? If you can find a group of people to actually sit down and learn it. You could potentially get a better weapon in the time it takes you to upgrade the relic to it's current max.

Yeah because a majority of the player-base is wholly capable of just putting T13 on farm whenever they want. The Relic Questline is garbage, but that's hardly an argument. Most players have probably still not even seen past T9, even more are still stuck on T5 despite near full Poetics. Parties who are actually on T12/T13 are minority within a minority.

Missing the point:...."I don't do much Endgame". Endgame stuff can't be solo'ed. I Like Solo stuff (I know MMOS = group play) Its the best weapon "I" can earn by myself without an FC or Endgame group. My Nexus Bow,SMN book and soon to be SCh. book beat my unweatherd SOL weapons.
I woulnt have ANY self earned weapons without this Quest.
