Do Paladins want Cure?

I played the original FFIV and the DS version and in both instances Cure and Cure 2 on Cecil were rather pointless

Hmmm, no, if you've really played FFIV DS, you can't say Cure is pointless. It's easy to heal more than one thousand HP with a single Cure at lvl99 and more than two thousands with Cura.
In the DS remake, Cecil is ridiculously overpowered..

Rosa is such a strong WHM in FFIV that Cure and Cure 2 on Cecil were almost never used. Though it was nice to have someone else who could heal in the menu, and not waste Rosa's MP...

Yes, it's nice, and don't forget that sometimes, you don't have a WHM to heal, wether because it's dead or you don't have one in the group. It would be if we can take care of some backup heal, and we're far from it now.
