Edit: So my initial post was pretty negative. I get that. Sorry I was annoyed. I'm just looking for some sort of legitimate justification for why SSII wasn't given to SCHs at the outset. The only good response I've gotten is coding issues which I accept might easily be the barrier. However, arguments that this somehow unbalances the synergy between SCHs and WHMs? Seriously? Also, SSII is NOT the same as giving WHMs succor. Can we please stop arguing over whether WHMs deserve succor or not because there's like 1-2 fights in the whole game where there's damage within 20 seconds of the fight beginning and the majority of the party taking damage.

Not really. SSII lasts 30 minutes and stacks with succor.

Are any other SCHs annoyed that we don't get our weaker version of SSII? The addition of SSII into the game was essentially a QoL change. Considering that about 90% of the game can be cleared without having to have a WHM in the party, SCHs should've gotten this QoL change too. There was literally no reason for SE to give WHMs SSII but not give SCH their own equivalent. This just reeks of laziness to me. Did SE even actually think about this carefully before they decided to implement SSII or did they just give it to us because we were whining for it? I can't think of a single reason for WHMs to have SSII but not SCHs.

Just for that, I hope they take away regular cross-class stoneskin from you >=P

I'm not alone I too was a little upset that it wasn't cross class. Now when your in DF for primals ect and theres two scholars, people seems even more impatient when awaiting stone skin casts -.-

That was besides the point and you know it. The point was that SSII was implemented because it's annoying to cast SS on EACH member of the party one by one. The game doesn't force you to bring a WHM to instances. This means that there'll be LOADS of times where an instance is being healed by a double scholar combo. WHMs get to hit one button to SS the whole party while SCHs do not. How is this fair?
