Not necessarily. Selene times her buffs quite well even on Sic.

Not even close compared to having full control of when pets do or don't use their abilities. Putting on Sic is just lazy and more often than not wasteing potential of the buffs/abilities.

Using macros tieing Embrace+Physik and Embrace+Adlo helps you to guarantee a decent combined heal on one target. 2300-2500 non crits compared to 1300-1500. With 2 chances one heal crits for a bigger heal. Very useful to quickly top up low HP players. Or around 2kish heal+shield with Adlo, tie in using Fey illu+rouse and you can easily fill up a low HP tank.

I have stopped using Eos anyway ages ago, I've been using Selene since then - including on T12. She does a good job alternating perfectly Fey Light and Fey Glow, with Embrace as spot heal for the party. I feel no need to macro Embrace to Physick and Adlo, to be honest. I did, some time ago - but ended up finding it more of a hindrance, as many times it just overheals the target.

Why you have normal physik and Adlo, plus sepearate hotkeys for the macros albeit they are more useful when solo healing as a SCH Also Fey Cov doesnt hurt for phase 3 and flames of rebirth on last couple of Bennys when stacks are getting high, plus Fey illu to help the WHMs AE healing plus succor of course then back to Selene for last phase.

But, it's probably differences in style, not effectiveness XD
