Mudra's seem sluggish?

I'm having huge lag spikes and disconnections left and right tonight, which enabled me to experiment with Mudras in a way I've never been able to before, as when you're disconnecting from the server there is no server check and your skills fire off immediately.
Holy crap, what a night and day difference this makes. My mudras seem to come off at twice the usual speed and it's silky smooth instead of being really inconsistent.

This is with a moderate ping (<80ms) and Battleping, from Europe (yeah I know, we're getting a dedicated data center, but you have people leaving near Montreal complaining in this very thread).

Seriously, my mudras did literally the same when that happened to me, I was shocked that I wasn't usually experiencing animation lock but just... lag.

As for YoshiP's dismissive response during the latest Live Letter, I'm sorry if I'm being blunt but I found it a little bit insulting. They can do better than that. It's their job, not ours to deal with it.

Gosh, the ones you do in the beginning aren't even that fast for me. Mine are even more sluggish.
