    I don't believe that to be true. I understand the feeling of hopelessness completely, trust me, since i main Ninja and this agravates me to no end ; but drg got fixed, smn got fixed, blm got fixed, War got fixed. None of them were made OP, but stuff that was definitely degrading QoL while playing got fixed, even though it took time.

    What we need is to raise awareness on the issue. Keep reminding SE of it. I'm confident if we do that one day we will hape a "ninja patch" (pun intended) that will fix this crap

    I hope you are right. Ninja is a very fun class, the mudra clunkiness is the one big drawback, the one thing that makes it often such a pain to deal with. I intentionally slow myself down to increase the likelihood that I'll actually get the Ninjutsu I want, but even then, animation lag sometimes causes messups and it's really annoying. The expansion will keep me entertained with Machinist and Dark Knight, but Nin will most likely stay one of my favorites - if they ever fix the mudra issue, even more so.

    Whilst the optimism is commendable it's important to note the actual cause of the mudra sluggishness on NIN. Unlike the other jobs who suffer/suffered from basic balancing issues NIN is hindered by the server latency which would require major structural changes on SE's side to address. They can do it, and hopefully will do, but it's going to be a much bigger project and a simple 'ninja patch' won't suffice unfortunately. The upside is that any optimization of their network code to address this would also improve quality of life across all other aspects of the game so it would be in their interests to address it eventually.

    As i said before, the solution is really, really simple though: do NOT check the mudras input server side. Leave that to the client. Then, locally, on your machine, that gives a value to the ninjutsu ability, and when you click on the ninjutsu ability, THEN the server is involved.

    The only reason one could argue that it can't be done is because "some people will cheat and have all 3 mudras added in one button, removing the chance of missing it", but seriously, if not for the mudra lag, i would not miss a mudra, ever ; and i doubt many people would go to the length of using a third party tool for such an easy thing to do manually. There is not "time" gain either, because you better believe that if i don't have to deal with craplag for mudras i will so easily input all 3 mudras in a 2 sec GCD without any clipping. It would result in a very slight gain in dps due to 3mudras jutsus currently clipping on your GCD no matter what your connection is, but then i'm fine with them removing 10 potency on aeolian edge or whatever is necessary to keep my dps the same.

    There is really absolutely zero reason for mudras input being sent to the server. It is moronic, and it is the source of all this bullshit. I do not expect SE to ever fix the latency so that mudra delay can be removed, because i don't think that's really realistic. I just expect them to reach the conclusion that they can just remove this unnecessary step.
