    I find it funny how all the unique snowflakes are like "It's been watered down too much now everyone can do it", but I also think it was a tad bit early. I enjoyed the difficulty of it before the nerf, it was fun. I would've have liked for the nerfs to be a little bit later. But I'm glad T9 wasn't nerfed. Echo is helpful but I'm glad there's still a lot of one-shotting going on.

    You mean the slime puddles that you fed to the snakes to decrease their damage stacks and increase their HP? That mechanic is still there, just nobody does it anymore because you just burn through the boss and forget that the boss has any mechanics.

    239 days un-nerfed. How much longer would have been acceptable? that's 65.5% of a year.

    Enjoy your victory over the evil raiders. We will have a thread tomorrow about how t5 is still to hard and threads for the next 6 months about how t9 is impossible.

    Then post expansion we will still have complaints about t5, 9, and add in13 after post coil raids start up. All that ever happens is delay the inevitable. Everyone that is so happy rubbing in the nerfs in people's faces today will come back crying tomorrow.

    Easing content is inevitable. This was a rather sharp drop off compared to the existing track record but ultimately the same effect. Bucket kicked down the road. Status quo hasn't changed and both sides need to take a chill pill. Entitled brats will crash and burn at t9 and come back tomorrow and have the same whine fest as usual because they never actually solved the problems why they couldn't do it in the 1st place. Snowflake deuchy elitists will be butt hurt every nerf. The rational people in the middle will note their grievances but eventually get over it.

    Forums are mics for the entitled brats and deuchy elitists. Vocal minorities. The vast majority of more reasonable people will move on with their lives and happily play the game. When you guys are done ranting in every thread we can actually talk about the game again.

    I didn't read all the posts.

    Not sure what the issue is... if people cant progress in the game they will stop playing it... i.e. stop paying SE money.

    Would the "elite" rather have a game the "casual" cant progress in which has to close down due to not being profitable?

    lol... ok, so you didn't have the best loot before the majority of the player base? So you didn't have the most time to lord it over everyone else? Also this nerf is only for T6-8, they still have to beat an untouched T9 to progress to FCoB.

    Oh and FCoB cutscenes are all over YouTube, guess that means your FCoB raiding is all for naught too huh since that's the REAL PRIZE now widely available?

    The problem I see with FFXIV and other MMO's is that their end game is basically raiding and or instance dungeons, and when that's it we get a lot arguing because one group wants it hard and the other wants it easier. What FFXIV needs is other types of progression, not just running dungeons or raids, but other ways to progress. I can't tell you what that is, but I'm not the one getting paid to come up with it.
