    The reason people care is because they didn't just add echo they literally took any challenge out of the fights. Part of the fun in coil is doing something challenging where you need to be cautious and aware. They removed all of that and just said "play whackamole".

And you do not account for the lockouts that were in coil by design. You know what I see littered in the pf? Parties that ask for people that have already beaten it, and use the new player bonus as a stigma.

    I went to DF parties for T7 for my amusement. Out of 4 parties and about 15 tries we cleared T7 once. It's much easier than before, but nowhere near current T1 in terms of difficulty.
    You need to do something with Renauds as unfreezed pack of 4 will kill your healers just as they did it before. You need to be carefull with voice/shrieks as unfortunate petrification will cause wipe, especially if tanks/healers is be petrified. You need to dispel otherwise people drop like a flies from venomous tail. You need to focus adds (and half of people tends to ignore this) or offtank dies and then everyone else.
    It's more a story of a bad parties than a good one, but still it clearly shows that even with actual gear this content cannot be facerolled by any casual group, you need a little bit of understanding anyway.

    The 50 pages is mostly people having a go at the few people whining about it. If this thread is anything to go by then SE made the right move. Annoyed a few, pleased a lot more.

    i would actually love to see that. the adds hitting as hard as the used to can make for a very fast wipe if tanks are stoned.

    T7 was already a huge pain in the ass to do each week. If there was any incompetence in designing a raid, it was making mechanics so tedious on that turn.

    Turn 1 no longer has the slime-puddles which would need to be dragged into the snakes to further reduce their HP.

    Here I've done Turn 6 already post 2.41. Take a look for yourself. It's not that different. The same applies to turns 7 and 8 I'm guessing. Yes it's easier. But not *that* much easier. Blighted Bouquet still does significant damage. This is my first win of course for turn 6. I've got the first two phases down pat. It's the last phase I've had trouble with.

    What bothers me more is people in here saying "want a challenge do savage." Savage is an entirely different beast, with enough gear many of the mechanics can be cheesed
    This is exactly how newcomers feel about standard second coil. Regardless Second Coil is still challenging and if you want to prove your "l33t skillz" you have savage coil.
