There's also a lot of people happy with the changes. For instance, some of the people who could not clear that content for various reasons, as well as the people who complained about insta-kill combat mechanics.
And that's a lot of people, not just a few latecomers who are "frustrated" because they will clear 2nd Coil with more ease.

They obviously can't please everyone. But as for that content, it's already old enough to justify a nerf and the majority of Coil statics already cleared T6 to T8 and are either working on T9 or are on the Final Coil.

This is an MMO, things evolve, things change, deal with it. Plus this a giant overreaction to its truest form. People said T5 was gonna be "1 shotted now in DF" and we know that's not the case at all, there is still many people who haven't even cleared T5 and when they do clear it, its not by DF, but still in the traditional PF or FC group. Second coil will still be challenging to the average player who's just trying to advance through the story and not interested in HA gear because showing off his e-peen is not important to him.

It just looks like they've removed all the guaranteed wipe mechanics from 6-8, however Turn 9 will be just as big a roadblock as Turn 5 was (and still is for some people).

There will be 1 or 2 that don't like the 2nd coil nerfs, but honestly the vast majority of hardcore raiders really don't care.

I'm someone who considers himself pretty competent at his chosen role, but as many others, due to real life circumstances I often don't have the time/resources to put together a scheduled static with the hopes of clearing content like this over many moons of grinding out mechanics. For this reason, I welcome these changes.

The fact that certain individuals have stooped so low as to propose that this content be locked away from players for any reason, is utterly pathetic and disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Some offer up the idea that "the challenge has been stripped from the raid" when this is a flatout lie. If challenge is truly what you seek, you will find it in the final coil, or in savage modes of the first and second coils. What you seek is a weapon, with which you can beat other players who you deem lesser in stature than yourselves.

This content is outdated and the only things it offers people at this point are a different fight than they are probably used to, and a storyline, yet you would deny them those things simply because they didn't grind like you did when the content was actually current. Move on.
