My point was if someone was struggling through T6-8, they're going to struggle through T9. I've seen countless statics go through this, with poor DPS barely squeaking by T8 and then getting stuck on T9 for months because they can't get less than 6 stardusts or kill golems in time. As far as I'm concerned, if you can reliably clear T9, then you "deserve" to be in FCoB. The nerfs to T6-8 won't change that.Beacuse learning T9 by doing T9 is something completely impossible to do, the older fights make it easier to learn T9, but you still CAN learn T9 by doing it, and you CAN learn FCoB by doing FCoB - will be harder, but not impossible.
This is how people who join late are able to do end-game raids, they dont sit through old content learning mechanics, they learn the mechanics of the current end game-raid and that's it.
I'm happy that this will let some people actually clear, and experience (sort of) content further along in the raid tier and such. That's nice, it really is, and I understand why SE would do that, but I'm still sad that I won't be able to experience the content's mechanics, the real heart of the encounter, as it originally was ever again. I just missed out on experiencing some of the content.Call me crazy, but I don't see the problem with allowing people to catch up on content that's 9 months old. The hardcore raiders have had that long to learn the mechanics for them, sell their turns, show off their high allagans, and now have the chance to move on to the more demanding raid content.
As with anything, it's going to be outdated and people are going to have to move on. I'm sure there are plenty of casuals out there, like me, who would like to experience and clear as much of this game's content as possible at some point. Just because you have access to a regular static group and the time to be able to put into dedicated weekly farming, doesn't mean everyone else necessarily has had that same luxury. I really wish some people would get over their sense of self entitlement with this game and it's offerings to *every*one who pays their sub.
And, not that I'm specifically referring to you here, can we stop with the whole "anyone that's not happy about the nerf has obviously completed t1-13 and is a super elitist snob that hates and looks down upon all of us downtrodden and unfortunate casuals!"?
The ones against this are the ones lashing out in frustration. I have no problem with this change for non-savage mode second coils.
I win by default.
I would like to than all the drama queens for providing me with great amusement as I have my first coffee at work![]()

Of course there's a chance for casuals, a chance to get better and progress. These nerfs on the other hand are downright begging for things to simply get handed to you. They already have Crystal Tower raids and tomestone gear for casuals to catch up. The only 1% content hardcores get, you casuals even want that to vanish. Good job!
What do you win? You have a really weird obsession over other players, probably more than the thread creator, and you clearly have an axe to grind.
Nothing has vanished. Final coils is the endgame content for the most hardcore and you still have that.Of course there's a chance for casuals, a chance to get better and progress.
