Let's be real though, if people couldn't get through T6-8 pre-nerfs (legitimately trying, those who started late or couldn't find statics obviously don't fall in this category), then they're not going to get through T9, which wasn't nerfed except through 10% echo. Still need T9 to unlock FCoB.

Beacuse learning T9 by doing T9 is something completely impossible to do, the older fights make it easier to learn T9, but you still CAN learn T9 by doing it, and you CAN learn FCoB by doing FCoB - will be harder, but not impossible.

This is how people who join late are able to do end-game raids, they dont sit through old content learning mechanics, they learn the mechanics of the current end game-raid and that's it.

If the so called 'filthy casuals' as you put it left this game it would go out of business. The egotists are a tiny fraction of FFXIV subscribers, out of the two SE would do better without them than without the casuals. Once again however I feel the need to point out to the elitists whiners on this forum that they have not lost out as they still have a non-nerfed T9 (minus the echo) and untouched savage mode plus the actual current endgame raid content of final coils.
