I se several problems in this thought process which seems to be an all to common on.

1. Up to this point, both mage classes were basically the main healers. Its not much of a change in general role.

2. Who did you think was gonna get the WHM role if we had one. THM, seriously, with all there dark and death related spells. Players think they would be WHM over the cure/protect/shell using class, seriously ?.

3. The way everyone mentions FFXI and says I want X job from that game, and with so few speaking out against all the "I want FFXI-II" cryers, demanding of jobs in such a way, your just asking to get pigeon holes like that.

so who is it you thought was going to be the BLM then? The debuff tossing, regen buffing DOT class or the one with all the elemental magic? I hardly see how expecting the class with flare to be allowed to play as a BLM is somehow flawed logic LMAO. Nice try though.
