Speaking of that, as a Lv 19 Conjurer, I was very disappointed to see Radiance give me only 7 MP.

I play as THM and conj, the mp cost was RIDICULOUS, for all people. The current content is made for absolute retards, and then they add more mp cost and act like suddenly they're content is challenging. Its still retard content, now its just difficult due to mp, YOU ONLY MADE THE CONTENT CHALLENGING BASED ON TWO CLASSES and their ability to cure/back up cure. RETARDED. Sorry to use the R word so much, but damn, half ass content that is supposed to be hard, and people "its not easy mode anymore" with always like lnc or god damn mrd leveled up. Its not about easy mode, its not that mp cost is too hard for us, its that we wanted challenge and we got half ass shit. Idk how the r25 people are even supposed to do those dungeons without two higher level people in it (i was one of the higher level people witnessing how they would of just gotten completely owned by the boss)
And to Perrin, its takes literally no more than an hour to test this crap out. siphon mp was gimped and both conj and thm mp get back weapon skill was always useless unless you really need 30 more mp. The more useful ability now is the one you use every 10 mins, i remember when mp regen came out I never used that ability, now i have to. Sorry i dont remember name, dealing with thm and conj made me remember neither lol

Personally I'm enjoying CON more than I ever have before. Part of the fun of playing a mage class is mp management.
Something that requires skill and practice.

Yeah man I agree. The Cure spell shouldn't define the class.
[QUOTE=Punainen;248501]Don't 'boohoo' me about 'easy mode' or MP management. All the people that make these complaints are people who don't even play CON, and thus have no idea what they're talking about.
I play CON and THM... whats the problem? I like the new mage changes..

I'm totally okay with mp cost if these two conditions apply which i think they will:
a) pre jobs, it will make alchemist/items more useful. As before people weren't using them as much before. Some of this mp cost might make slow, paralyze, blind, and silence, more useful than before. Maybe even paralynia and poisona and stuff.
b) once jobs come out you will receive reduced mp costs for things that fit in the role. For people who played xi think of it like scholar, but instead of books there are jobs. You have all the same spells laid out for you if you choose blm, but only nukes and such will offer reduced mp costs and maybe even reduced action points. Its different from scholar of course, but the reduced mp cost on roles is kinda like switching between books for less mp, but i would love to see a book based mp management job sometime.
just a sidenote, when we switch to jobs i would love to have my job have its own slot in my action and traits drop down menu, and all the spells that it can use from the "classes" would be listed there, because action and traits can be a pain atm, so for jobs streamlining would be a little nice.

The CONs that I party with seem to be doing fine.
I suspected that I'd prefer playing my marauder or Lancer again after the patch, and reassigned my points accordingly, but as of now I have completely respecced back to Thaumaturge and am doing quite well.
The new battle system just takes a little time to get used to.

"Why did you overhaul THIS insteed of THAT first?!?!"
Bawww
My question to those who are fine with the changes as a Conjurer, what role are you used to playing in a team?

Conjurer is my main Thurmaturge is my secondary.
If you mean: how do I like to play my job: I'm a 'nuker/secondary healer' when it comes to my preferred play style.
