"Solution": queue with a tank/healer
I've seen plenty of similar screenshots posted like that, so yes, it's definitely real. Usually when I queue if I can't get a party after an hour as any class I just cancel, as I feel if I'm not going to get a party by then I won't get it at all. And there's no easy fix either - the addition of ROG/NIN hasn't helped the problem, but that issue has been with the game since the start.
DD classes/Jobs are perceived as being easier and more relaxing to play as in a dungeon, as tanks and healers usually get blamed if things go wrong, so a lot of players try to avoid that by simply queuing as a DD. Save opening up dungeons as solo-able with the player's chocobo, I can't really think of any way this can be fixed I'm sorry to say.
With all the NIN about, expect that.
I don't think there really is a change that could be made that wouldn't be unbalanced. They upped the reward for Adventurer in Need last update (not that I've actually looked at what it is now). Unless they added a low chance to get something awesome for it, which is, again, unbalanced, DPS will always outnumber tanks and healers.
My suggestion is to talk to a friend and see if they want to level in dungeons with you. Not that it helps Duty Roulette Low Level, but still. If you want to be a DPS, expect the long waits. It'll come easier once everyone's off the NIN high. I'm leveling my tanks and healers now specifically because I know what DPS queue.
Keep queuing up you NIN, I'm enjoying my "In Need" bonuses a lot :3
im going to ignore the time spent and focus on the fact that you have macros for mudras.
I apologize for the off-topic
You remind me of a guy I knew from FFXI that actually was named Veloxe. You didn't happen to play FFXI on Midgardsormr during the time before and after it merged with Quetz, preferred PLD and hated NINs, and had a linkshell leader that had many strong anxiety attacks that made them do really stupid things, did you?
Nah wasn't me. I only played XI for a few weeks and it was on Sylph. School became too much to juggle.You remind me of a guy I knew from FFXI that actually was named Veloxe. Well to be fair, they could just be /p or /y text macro'd in there and not the combos themselves. Not saying this is the case, but I have seen some people with all their NIN crap macro'd ala Naruto style and it gave me shivers.
