Your opinion is wrong. You're trying to create an equivalency that doesn't exist; logging in is almost instant, save for a few occasional instances where it may take a few minutes longer. Creating a character, even on a server where you already have one, can take days.
And that's completely ignoring the fact that people who stay logged in 24/7 are doing their hardware a terrible disservice.
In your opinion.![]()
So it takes a few days to get on the heavily populated servers. Once again I don't see that as a big deal. It's the players choice to wait and not play on a low pop. *shrug* No whining or attempted guilt-trips will change my mind on the subject tbh.
If leaving your character on overnight causes some kind of damage to the servers, they should stop allowing people to keep their characters logged in. Problem is that people will just use third party stuff to keep their accounts logged in anyway like they did when the auto-kick thing was in place.Your opinion is wrong. Not being able to create a character on a server where you already have characters is silly and should be changed, but there's no reason to take that out on other players. Calling people impatient and self-centered for doing that SE allows (poor design or not) is just...I don't know.
Every time I've wanted to make a new character on Excalibur or Hyperion, I had to set an alarm for ~4:30 in the morning (EST). It's inconvenient and annoying to have to wait that long, but it's also not the end of the world.
