    I agree, however its also an open forum. There is a group of users on this forum that specifically want vanilla 1.0 not 1.x mechanics brought back and will use any relevant thread to voice it instead of making their own.

    That's all well and good and you're right it wouldn't take long, but the moving animation using scathe is gross. Getting the timings and proper animation sequences to play takes a bit more time. I don't enjoy sliding around in a wide spread stance when casting scathe.

    All I'm saying is it's not a priority for them (and who knows, maybe it is)

    I do like this idea of moving while casting for like 1 time if of course it had a trade off. I think at the top of our heads we can't determine the correct trade off and would have to see how it would effect players to see if the trade off is worth it and bearing in made we can give it a few trade offs.

    1. More MP cost,
    2. Longer Cast time
    3. Less damage
    4. None of the above but a long CD time.

    A slightly longer CD in exchange for this could be okay.

    Though I think it would be fine to add on its own without any other nerfing.

    Yes I like the idea, cause like some people have said, for a blm in pve its basically useless, its more of a use for WHM than the class that actually learns it by leveling up.

    Maybe it should be a trait though? I think its a tiny bit op for a whm to be able to do the same thing

    I really want this. As of now, I only use Surecast in pvp or in those rare instances I'm paralyzed and remember it's there. It'd be a staple of my spells if I could throw a heal out while running out of stuff.

    A lot of boss attacks or mechanics outright don't need Surecast or ignore it anyway... it's pretty sad.
