Doesn't mean Cecil isn't a tank. He has the option of sacrificing HP, but as a character, he was still tanky. And yes, people have argued Kain was tanky too, but that doesn't mean they have to ignore that vision for Cecil. I'd say he worked as either a DPS OR a tank. SE just went with the latter.

On a slightly unrelated note, I think it would be cool if DRG was a bit more tanky. Oh well.

Please tell me what raid group in their right mind will take a tank into the raid that will use it's own HP to deal damage?
