    So they ignored 90% of the content of my message but ultimately said exactly what I expected regarding the solution about emailing SE a picture of your credit card:

    Regarding your request for account support. Please find your answer below.

    Unfortunately that service is not available at this time. Suggestions from our customers are always valued. While we cannot guarantee implementation we will surely pass this on to the developers.

    The rest was a copy paste auto reply of what we already know (with continued blame pushing on my bank lol). And the suggestion that I should effectively give up on my extra retainers, and continue to pay more than the standard for subscription fees using game time cards until this magical paypal solution becomes a thing.

    So my subscription lapsed a few days ago and I've been wondering whether to renew this sub, or go and see what's happening in WoW. I thought I'd choose FFXIV.

    Looks like SE made the decision for me!

    edit: Hahaha, oh wow. I've been repeatedly getting the 406 error, and I've been trying my mother's card since mine wasn't working at all. She's just came through to inform me SE have taken off the £1 verifcation FOUR TIMES, and yet won't take the payment for the subscription fee. I am so freaking done with SE and their crappy payment system. No, I am not going to fork over £17+ for a timecard when I only want to buy a £7.69 month. Christ, I've never seen a company so intent on making it difficult for me to give them money. I am livid.

    edit 2: misread the topic title and thought this applied to error 406 too. From a quick google search it sounds like much the same problem, though.

    The Eu part of customer services is really good, they replied my mail politely, they tried to help me even though i am on a Na account.

    Meanwhile, Na customer services is fucking horrible,
    it is literally the worst customer services i have ever seen,
    Wanting both of your secret question's answer and email registered under your account just for the sake of support center services is just fucking stupid, it is like begging those worker to steal your account, and guess what? Eu support center doesn't require your secret question's answer to get their services.
    And all the fucking time, they have only one Cs to do the job -- Agent.Jxrdxn, why the fuck they have only 1 customer services for such a big company?? And he is impolite and lazy as fuck, all the copy paste replies is fucking making me mad.
    They should fire him and the officer of that department for god sake if they actually want to improve their customer services.
